Common Rail Diesel Injection Controller

    Applications

These controllers replace the functions normally provided by a diesel engine's Engine Control Module (ECM) and Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM), and permit adjustments to injection parameters (such as pulsewidth duration) beyond the limits imposed by the standard control systems. The unit shown was produced for Pulse Detonation Engine (PDE) research, in which the high pressure fuel pump was powered independently from the engine by a variable speed electric drive. Nexum can provide complete custom systems with fuel injection hardware, or stand alone electronic controllers for those wishing to assemble their own fuel systems or control an engine currently equipped with HPCR injection.

    Models and Pricing

Single channel controllers (intended for single cylinder diesel research engines) are available starting at $7,000 U.S.D. Systems can be made to order for a wide range of HPCR applications.
